Dear Fellow Prayer Warriors in Christ,

I felt convicted to write this down for all of you as exhortation and faith building information. Please take what I share as believing prayer points, so we can fast and pray to fight powerfully and effectively for our Sister Izzy.

At the bottom, I have also shared 3 healing testimonies to encourage you and build your faith.

I trust these scriptures and words will build your faith as you meditate and pray them.

Yours in Christ,
Cooper

The Immense Power of Prayer

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
James 5:16

“Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.”
Romans 10:17

God’s Prompt to Me

I stopped at Indian Riverside Park after our church gathering Sunday night. I felt like the Lord was telling me to go even though I wanted to go home. When I got there I noticed that the kid’s water fountains were turned on and flowing at night when they’re never turned on. I took that as a sign of rivers of Living Water coming forth in waves or pours (of God’s Spirit) as Tom has shared with me and calls them.

There was also a wedding celebration going on at the mansion, and I could hear very loud cheers coming from it as I meditated on these healing notes and wrote them down to share with you all.

I’m not overly swayed by external things, but I took this as a sign as well. The last sign the Lord showed me in this park at His word was a Shooting Star which had significant meaning to me, which I may share at another time.

Prayer for Izzy – God’s Word & Given Authority

So as I shared briefly last night…the word says…
“If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.”
Romans 8:11

Matthew 11:12 says…
“From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subject to violence, and the violent lay claim to it.”

We as believers in Christ have the authority to cast out demons and lay hands on and heal the sick. It is our birthright in our new birth. So we can lay claim to it.

We also have authority as judges like the Lord (think associate or underling judges but still very powerful) in Heavens Court to bring judgment against violent attacks against God’s people, like the one against Izzy’s health. This is clearly from the devil and does not line up with the word of God.

We can pray like this…
Lord, we judge the disease in Izzy’s body/soul (cancer, heart condition, seizures, trauma, etc.) coming against it by the blood and the word of God which says…
The Lord “forgives all our iniquities and heals all of our diseases.”
Psalm 103

“No weapon formed against you will succeed, and you will refute any accusation raised against you in court. This is the heritage of the LORD’s servants, and their vindication is from me.” This is the LORD’s declaration.”
Isaiah 54:17

“Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;”
Colossians 2:14

Christ’s sacrifice brought us heaven’s justice which we can now appeal for the Lord to bring to pass on the earth by his power and authority which is in us. We can use this authority to pray and stand for God’s perfect righteous judgment on Izzy’s behalf to bring her healing, and pray that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

The Boy in the Bible Having Seizures

Last night I also mentioned…
The boy in the Bible who was being attacked by demons and was therefore having seizures and being thrown down to the ground or into water or fire was brought to Jesus by the boy’s father who was desperate.
Mark 9:14-29

He said to Jesus, “If you can do anything please help”. Jesus said “If I can? All things are possible for those who believe.” The boys father then said “I do believe. Help me to overcome my unbelief.”

Meaning…Lord I believe you but I’m struggling with some doubts. Help to believe despite my doubts. I put my trust in you.

The disciples later came to Jesus, asking him why couldn’t we cast it out. His reply to them was this kind only comes out not by unbelief but by prayer and fasting.

Another prayer point to believe without wavering…

Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”
Mark 11:23-25

Faith is a Decision

Faith is a choice. We can choose to believe and fight for God’s best for us based on what His Word promises to us. We can do it for ourselves and we can do it for our fellow blood bought sister Izzy.

We can stand strong in faith for her.

Centurion Like Faith

So to sum up here I want to stress, we should firmly press into prayer for our sister believing and hoping that she will be made completely well, completely whole.

We should have Centurion like faith like someone also brought up last night (forgive me I forget who mentioned it now). No wavering. Jesus praised the Centurion for having faith that he had not seen even in anyone is Israel who He was sent only to at that time.

Even if doubts enter into our mind. We can do what the boy’s father said and say “I do believe Lord help me overcome my unbelief”.

The boys father made that choice for his son…
We can choose to make it for Izzy.

Is Healing Always God’s Will?

In short…Yes, because Jesus bought it for us on the cross. I will say this not to be critical or condemning, but from what I’ve learned in scripture and my walk with God.

The scripture says “My people perish for lack of knowledge”.

Jesus never turned anyone away for healing. The only place in the Bible where Jesus ever prayed “Lord if it be your will”, leaving it up to the Father rather than his own God given authority, was when he was in the Garden of Gethsemane and was suffering immensely.

Jesus, our perfect savior, was hoping there might possibly be some other way that the Father would not require him to sacrifice himself through everything he knew he would suffer. This was obviously not God’s will, and Jesus did not let it stop him from being sacrificed for our sake.

But it was precisely through his intense suffering and sacrifice that we could be saved, redeemed, healed, and made whole. He made that sacrifice for us, and now because of it, we know that his word promises that…

“By his wounds we were healed and made whole.” (past tense – already done). 1 Peter 2:24

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us — whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.”
1 John 5:14-15

What if God Takes Izzy?

There is only one other possibility here that Brian brought up last night I want to address…

If the Lord does take our sister as our brother Brian mentioned is a possibility, it would most likely be because he gave her the choice of going home to heaven to rest and to give her complete joy and peace.

Isaiah 57:1 tells us, “The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.”

Heaven is Paradise. Nearly indescribably so. I can testify to that. I had a visit there when I was around 25, and I never would have come back here if given the choice. Jesus was not lying when he said to the man on the cross next to him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise” Luke 23:43.

I know others who were given the choice and stayed in heaven with the Lord.

If Izzy does wind up there, she will be in the best place she can ever possibly be.

Final Encouragement

Finally please know and remember this as you pray…
“Faith works by love.” Galatians 5:6

“Faith is the substance of things hoped far, the evidence of things unseen, the conviction of their reality.” Hebrews 11:1 AMP

You all have the love of Christ in you. I see it every week when we gather, and when I encounter you outside of church. It has been incredibly healing and inspiring to me every week as we gather. I thank you all for following Christ the way you do.

Healing Testimonies

I will leave you with 3 powerful healing testimonies I have been privileged to be a part of where God moved supernaturally in healing for those at death’s door.

Darcy
A friend of mine from Pennsylvania where I used to live. One day her developmentally disabled son found her curled up in a bowl on the floor in their house in a catatonic (demonic – my word) state, totally unresponsive. She was taken to the hospital emergency room . Even though our pastor was away on vacation, he had asked Pastor Ed (another local pastor he was close with) to cover for him. We were allowed access with Pastor Ed into the emergency admin area itself which is highly uncommon. When I saw Darcy it didn’t even look like her. She looked so bad, she was basically unrecognizable. She was a vegetable. They had no idea what was wrong with her. Her son Billy was terrified. It was terrible to see him asking the doctor questions and not get any reassuring answers as he tried to be compassionate but legally could not tell him his Mom would be alright. As this conversation ended, at that moment the Lord spoke to me and told me to call down His Fire on Darcy (think Elijah). I heard Him, and I didn’t even fully know what that meant back then, but I listened and obeyed him. It was pretty late at night and I did what the Lord instructed. The next day we got the report that Darcy was awake and responsive, and now completely whole. There was nothing wrong with her. They had no idea what put her into that state but she was released from the hospital and is alive and well to this day.

Sylvia
My now 90 year old spiritual mother, a prophet who has known the Lord since she is 4 years old and does deliverance ministry regularly setting people free from things like schizophrenia and witchcraft in America and countries like Africa and India. A few years ago she called me asking for prayer. They had told her that she had a major heart condition and would need open heart surgery. She was already not in great health fighting some health battles by faith. She told me she did not want to get the surgery. I was totally on board for that outcome. Believe it or not, I was “thrilled” that she would call me asking for help and prayer, getting the opportunity to help and minister to her for a change.

I asked her if she was willing to listen to my spiritual counsel. She said yes. I told her what I believed the Lord was revealing to me what she should do to believe strongly for her healing without surgery and wavering. Then I prayed with her over the phone.

The only limitation was, she said something to the effect of I’ll do what you’re telling me, but I will go to the hospital if I feel like I’m having an emergency. I was 100% fine with that knowing that she would act in faith.

Two days later I got a phone call from Sylvia saying that the Lord had revealed to her that she had held bitterness/judgment against the priest that had molested her when she was a child, and that she needed to forgive him. She did this and the demonic force that was afflicting her heart was now no longer able to keep it’s hold on her like it had that very priest who had the same heart condition and died from it. The doctors gave her a clean bill of heart health and told her she would not need open heart surgery.

Boat Captain from Hobe Sound
One day I got a phone call from my friend Sarah. Her son Ben in Pennsylvania was long distance dating a woman’s daughter here in Hobe Sound, Florida. She told me that this girl’s mother had called her frantically saying her husband was rushed to the hospital having massive heart attack. They told her he would not last the night. She was terrified because she would lose her husband and then be left to support her children on her own. She was a Catholic woman of faith.

As I spoke to my friend Sarah on the phone, I told her to tell the woman to speak the following scripture over him. My husband “will live and not die and declare the works of the Lord” Psalm 118:17. The Lord then spoke to me and told me that she has Spiritual Authority over her husband because they are married. The Bible says when the two come together as husband and wife they become one flesh, and therefore they have authority over each other as long as their is no outright resistance to it. She took hold of the word of the Lord like a tenacious bulldog latched onto something and believed the word of the Lord. She spoke it over him. The next day we got the word that he was out of the hospital. Everything was fine. There was a miracle. He did not die from the heart attack and had no ill after effects. He was on his boat again that day doing his work as a boat captain leading charters.

All praise to the Lord.
Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”
1 Corinthians 1:31
